Lantern Hollow

Lantern Hollow is a quiet, moody adventure game with gorgeous hand-drawn art. You wander a village solving gentle puzzles to figure out why the lanterns keep going dark. It's less about being stumped and more about being drawn along by the atmosphere.

The puzzles are fair — no moon-logic nonsense here. Everything you need is on screen if you look. I appreciated that hints exist but stay out of your way unless you ask.

It's short, maybe four hours, but I didn't want it to end. The kind of game you play in one sitting with the lights off.
