Harborline Tycoon
★★★★☆ 4.1
Harborline Tycoon puts you in charge of a small harbour and slowly hands you the keys to a sprawling shipping operation. You schedule docks, upgrade cranes, and try to keep the queue of ships from turning into gridlock. It's oddly soothing once you find the rhythm.
The progression is well-paced. New mechanics arrive just as you've mastered the last ones, so it never feels overwhelming or empty. There's satisfaction in watching a chaotic port turn into a smooth machine.
It leans on idle systems, so it keeps ticking while you're away, but there's enough active decision-making to keep you coming back rather than just collecting.
What we liked
- Steady, well-timed progression
- Satisfying optimisation loop
- Idle systems that don't take over
